Charles qualified as a solicitor in 1979 and has worked in private practice for 30 years, 26 of those with Beaumonts. He became partner in 1985 and Senior Partner in 1999.
He specialises in litigation and certain areas of non-contentious work.
His litigation practice includes commercial, partnership and business disputes and all disputes relating to property.
His non-contentious practice includes commercial conveyancing (freehold and leasehold).
Charles is also involved in work relating to wills, probate and estate administration.

Richard specialises in all areas of Litigation including personal injury, property dilapidations, business disputes and employment law.
He qualified in 1984 and joined Beaumonts in 1994. He became partner in 1999. Richard also specialises in non-contentious business matters including business set ups, mergers and acquisitions and the sale of licensed premises.

Accident and Personal Injury
Accidents happen and where blame can be attributed to someone you may have a right to claim.
We have a specialised department dealing exclusively with all accidents of whatever type including motor, industrial, public liability etc, with particular expertise and emphasis on the recovery of damages for personal injury and associated losses.

This department also brings and defends clients' actions in the Civil Courts, both County and High Court, of whatever nature or type, be it debt, arguments over land, disputes over contracts, defective goods and general business issues etc.
Employment Law
Employment problems, such as unfair dismissal or redundancy, and the necessary representation before Tribunals are dealt with by Mr Richard Clements.
